His Story
The most difficult thing that I have done in my entire life is nothing but to keep this whole proposal plan hidden from her. It’s all started when my mom and I were talking about my future and my relationship with Arlene. Without any hesitation, I told my mom that I’m ready to take my relationship with her to the next level and how certain I am about that.
After few months of planning, I finally have everything settled down and ready to be executed. The only downside about this plan is I have to rely heavily on God’s power. The reason is simply because I want to propose her exactly on 1000ft above the ground inside hot air balloon. In order to do this, everything from wind velocity and direction to temperature and weather has to be perfect. I know if she is the one that God wanted me to be with, there is nothing can stand in my way to propose her.
I have to share my plan with her parents in order to get their blessing and permission. I’m glad that her parents like the plan and promised me not to share this to Arlene. Finally, on Friday, May 11th 2007, I proposed her and since then she officially becomes my fiancee. Although the weather channel said that there was 50% chance of rain that day, it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days of the year. Such a perfect day for a perfect woman.
Thank you Arlene for all the support and trust that you put on me. It really helps me to grow and understand the real meaning of love.
