the first fitting

Few days ago I had the first fitting at Jakarta. Is there any synonym word for excited? I felt like that’s the word I use most on my blogs. Yes, I’m excited about everything about this wedding preparation.
We didn’t look much for bridal salon in Surabaya since shortly after we returned from Bali, I went to Jakarta for a while. So, we went around looking for a bridal salon and finally found one that we like. Chenny Han, the designer, has an office in Surabaya as well. That’s why we decided to work with her. We’d like to have all our vendors to be located in Surabaya to make communication easier. I like her design that’s simple, not overly ornamented, yet still beautiful. She’s also nice to work with. She listened to what I want and translate those to beautiful design. The gown will be in champagne instead of ivory and white since the December party is not the real wedding and my mom and my FMIL doesn’t allow me to wear those color as well. I totally agree with them; it will be a nice change since I’d like to wear ivory gown for my US wedding. Chenny knew that I’ll leave Indo in mid-August and she’s willing to work it out so that I can have my first fitting on early August.
I went to Jakarta again for this fitting since there’s not much time left, it’s easier for me to go to Jakarta and met with Chenny instead of her coming to Surabaya. The gown still in its earliest stage (does not show its beauty yet) but when I put the gown on, I was filled with a mix of emotion, like “this is the gown, wow, the day I’m wearing the real this, I’ve stepped onto the next phase of life”. Suddenly, I became very nervous -> me being silly. There’s bad news though, I’ve GAINED weight by a couple pounds since I was measured last time :(. Really need to be discipline on my diet. Ganbatte!!!
